Advanced Ear Care
Video Otoscopy
Our state of the art clinic is equipped with advanced imaging video otoscopy to handle issues with acute or chronic ear problems. Your pet should not suffer because of lack of proper treatment. We're committed to your pet's health.
Using an Endoscopic Instrument allows us to see the embedded grass seed, or the bulging ear drum due to middle ear infection, or the protruding polyp, or maybe just the wad of hair and wax. We can directly visualize structures deep within the ear to assess & treat the situation. Repeat exams allow monitoring of progress.
Ultrasound Imaging
Pregnancy, Internal Organs, Heart
Diagnostic Ultrasound provides a non-invasive view into the heart, liver, kidneys, and other internal organs. Real time ultrasound enables the practitioner to view dynamic motion of heart, bowel, blood vessels and to capture those images.
Progression and response to treatment can be followed and compared. Images can be sent through telemedicine to radiologists and cardiologists for expert interpretation and advice for difficult or urgent care.
Pet Boarding
for Dogs, Cats, Small Mammals
Deer Park Animal Medical Center offers full service boarding 7 days a week for dogs, cats and other small animals. Our modern kennels are spacious, well ventilated and climate controlled for both summer and winter. Your pet’s individual quarters have lots of natural light and elevated floors to prevent soiling to keep pets dry and clean. We provide food, bowls and bedding, so relax- you don’t need to bring a thing! Our experienced staff will be monitoring and recording your pets habits during their stay so any unusual behavior or signs of stress can be addressed promptly. Each dog is allowed out individually into an outdoor run three times a day for exercise and fresh air.
Cats have a cheerful cozy room all to themselves.
Pets such as diabetics, those taking medications or on special diets, can be medically boarded to provide for their special needs.
